iPhone setup guide

Continuum Services - Save your data to iCloud, reset your phone, get back to work

Open this guide on a computer or another phone - not the phone you are resetting.

This guide helps you make sure your personal data is safely saved in your Apple Account (iCloud), factory reset your iPhone, and set it up with your company apps. We will make sure nothing important is lost before the reset. The full process takes 15-20 minutes, plus extra time while your photos finish uploading to iCloud.

You will need:
- Your Wi-Fi network name and password
- Your work email: [your name]@continuumservices.com
- Your password:

If you already changed your password during a previous sign-in, use the new one.
If you have not changed your password yet, you will need to use your temporary password:
CS- followed by your employee number
    - If you have a 4-digit employee ID: add two zeros at the front (e.g. 1234 becomes CS-001234)
    - If you have a 7-digit employee ID: use the full number (e.g. CS-1234567)
About your data: Because this is a company-managed device, you will not be restoring from an iCloud backup. Instead, after enrollment you will sign into your Apple ID in Settings, which automatically brings back:
- Photos and videos, Contacts, Calendars, Notes, Safari bookmarks, iCloud Keychain (saved passwords), Messages, and iCloud Drive files.

What will not come back: home screen layout, wallpaper, app data, notification settings, Wi-Fi passwords, and personal apps.

Is your iCloud storage full?

If your iCloud storage is full, your photos and data cannot finish uploading - and you will see a message like this:

Not Enough iCloud Storage message
If you see this, tap here to free up space first, then come back and start the steps. Your free 5 GB fills up fast - clear old backups and large files, or add paid Apple iCloud+ storage at your own cost.

Plenty of space already? Tap Next to start.
